Korean-Style Office Nails: Length, Shape, Colour and Cost
Neat, keyboard-friendly and polished enough for meetings. Length, shape, five safe colours, subtle finishes and the cost of Korean-style office nails in Saigon.
Office life asks three things of your nails: neat, not in the way when typing, and polished enough for a client meeting. Korean-style nails meet all three naturally, because the style already favours tidy shapes and soft colours. Here is how to choose length, shape, colour and finish for work.
Length: shorter than you think
About 1–2 mm past the fingertip is enough to look well kept. You can still type with your fingertips, hold a pen and open a lunch box. If your nails are very short or break easily, a thin layer of builder gel (250,000₫ at VESSCA) strengthens them without adding length.
Shape: round or oval
- Round: the least in the way; ideal for short nails and heavy keyboard use.
- Oval: makes fingers look slimmer while staying neat.
- Soft square: looks strong, but corners chip more easily.
Five safe colours
| Colour | Why it works |
|---|---|
| Sheer milky pink | Close to your natural nail; regrowth shows less |
| Milky beige | Neutral with any work outfit |
| Smoky grey | Modern, good for creative workplaces |
| Light tea brown | Warm, good for the cooler months |
| Sheer wine red | Colour that still looks refined |
Finishes, in moderation
Pearl shimmers only in the light, a full soft-glow cat-eye on a clear base stays subtle, and a very fine French line adds detail. For an accent, one nail is enough — a small stone or a thin shimmer line on the ring finger.

Cost of an office set
| Set | Includes | Estimate |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | Hand cuticle care + plain gel | ~190,000₫ |
| Jelly | Hand cuticle care + jelly gel | ~210,000₫ |
| Subtle effect | Hand cuticle care + cat-eye / shimmer | ~230,000₫ |
| Weak nails | Hand cuticle care + builder gel + plain gel | ~440,000₫ |
Fitting it into a busy week
A full set takes 60–90 minutes. VESSCA is open until 20:30 every day, so 18:00–19:00 after work works well. Book ahead, as the salon takes a limited number of guests at a time. Every 2–3 weeks is a good rhythm.
VESSCA is at 251/30 Le Quang Dinh, Gia Dinh ward (Binh Thanh), Ho Chi Minh City, open 9:00–20:30 daily.
